About Event

The objective of this workshop is to create an awareness and hands-on exposure on Open Source Technologies. The major popular open source software Linux is a stable, free and a very efficient operating system. Since Linux is more stable and customizable, it makes the operating system especially suitable for running servers. Mainly in industries nowadays, they do concentrate more working with Linux administration, particularly towards various Linux distributions and customizing according to the user and organizational needs. So, this workshop mainly focuses on installing Linux OS, creating user accounts, configuration of FTP server, Web Server and MySQL server in Linux OS.
